The Gulf of Mexico Foundation is a private non-profit corporation founded by citizens representing agriculture, fisheries, business and industry, tourism, and the environment to promote wise utilization and conservation of the Gulf of Mexico and its wealth of resources. The Foundation is intended to establish scholarships, research funding, education and conservation programs, and communication between the Gulf's diverse producer and consumer special interest groups. The future of the Gulf is a shared responsibility of the citizens of the United States and Mexico.
