Nancy A. Voss My research interests are in cephalopod molluscs, their systematics, biology, evolution and biogeography. My long-term studies focus on two large families of midwater squid, the Cranchiidae and Histioteuthidae, which are important worldwide in marine food chains and ecosystems. At present, I am working with colleagues on a study of the cirrate octopod genus Opisthoteuthis in the Atlantic.
