Center for Sustainable Fisheries

The Center for Sustainable Fisheries (CSF) exists to develop and integrate new scientific understanding, education, and innovative technology in support of sustainable fisheries. CSF is working to achieve this goal through a focus on the life history, environmental, social and economic processes that shape specific fisheries of international importance.

In conjunction with scientific work, the Center for Sustainable Fisheries is working to increase public awareness of the consequences of the impact that humans can produce on our oceans. CSF is creating a broad base of support and understanding by sharing our research with other scientists, educators and students, political leaders, the media, and the general population.
