Louisiana Sea Grant

The Louisiana Sea Program has a mission to develop knowledge, technology, personnel, and public understanding to advance the sustainable and economically viable use of marine and coastal environmental resources. It is achieved through a variety of activities in the design and conduct of research and technology transfer. The Program's extension and education projects involve the natural sciences, engineering, economics, law and sociology in cooperation with federal, state, business, and public entities, as well as with individuals.
