Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) is a public, degree-granting institution of higher education. Situated on a coastal island, A&M-Corpus Christi's modern campus serves nearly 10,000 students. The University is a member of The Texas A&M University System.
TAMU-CC is a comprehensive urban university located on the South Texas Gulf Coast. The University focuses on the higher education needs of South Texas and the state, and on coastal and urban issues, with special emphasis on Environmental Studies, Allied Health, Applied Technology, Arts and Humanities, Business Administration, and Teacher Education. It is also the home of the newly formed Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies.
