Artist Boat is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting awareness and preservation of coastal margins and the marine environment through the disciplines of the sciences and the arts. Programs are supported by the Galveston Bay Estuary Program and the City of Galveston.

Eco-Art and Eco-Tour Adventures include travel through restored & natural marshes, seagrass beds, cypress swamps, bottomland hardwood forest, and regional places of natural significance. Guests learn how to identify native wildlife, understand natural resource management, paddle, and paint. Each adventure is tailored to highlight the features of each place visited.
