Bob Morton

Bob Morton is a geologist with the USGS Center for Coastal and Watershed Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida. His studies have included projects such as: Subsidence and fault activation in Orange and Galveston Counties of Texas; evaluation of subsidence and possible fault reactivation in wetlands near oil and gas fields in South Carolina; coastal erosion in the nearshore region between Little River Inlet and Winyah Bay and characterization of the geologic framework; and distinguishing tsunami deposits from large-storm deposits in the geologic record.
