I am an aquatic biologist with the Water Resources Program at Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD). My focus is on water quality. We are currently promoting the development of a coastwide seagrass monitoring program for Texas. Also I represent the Department on stakeholder groups and other forums to promote water quality policy protective of fish and wildlife. Most recently this included participating in review and comment on the state water quality standards. My program has statewide responsibility, so we work in freshwater habitats as well.
