Randy Blankinship works with the Highly Migratory Species Division of the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). Prior to going to NMFS in 2006, he worked with the Coastal Fisheries Division of the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department for more than 13 years conducting marine fisheries research and management in the lower Laguna Madre of Texas, Gulf of Mexico and Rio Grande estuary.
