Dr. Alan A. Ekdale is a Professor of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Utah.
Dr. Ekdale's research focuses on paleontology and paleoecology of marine invertebrates; animal-sediment interrelationships in continental, intertidal, shallow-marine and deep-sea environments; sedimentologic, stratigraphic, ethologic and environmental implications of trace fossils and ichnofabrics.
