Researcher at the Instituto de Ciencias del Mar y Limnología in Puerto Morelos, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. The main goal of her research is focused on contributing to a better understanding of the seagrass beds in coral reef systems. The hypothesis are mainly ecological, but techniques and collaboration from other disciplines are used to test them (e.g. hystology, demography, photobiology, molecular biology).
