Dr. Christopher Boyko is a north American malacologist. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at Dowling College and a research associate at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

His interests include the taxonomy, ecology, and phylogenetic systematics of crustaceans, especially anomurans (hermit crabs and their relatives) as well as parasitic crustaceans and the evolution of parasitism in general. He is also interested in the biodiversity of invertebrates and has headed or participated in invertebrate surveys in coastal Georgia, USA, on Easter Island in the South Pacific Ocean, and in the Bahamas.
