Daniel Benetti is the Chairman of the Division of Marine Affairs and Policy at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, where he is an Associate Professor and Director of Aquaculture. Dr. Benetti is a recognized authority in marine finfish aquaculture and is currently working in projects for marine fish aquaculture technology development and transfer with several private companies and government institutions in Latin-American and Asian countries, such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Australia, China and Japan. He specializes in advanced hatchery technology and open ocean aquaculture of marine finfish.
