Dr. Georgina Lynn Wingard is a research geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey. She is involved as principal and co-principal investigator in a number of South Florida restoration projects involving ecosystem history of the south Florida Estuaries, including Florida Bay, Biscayne Bay, and the southwest mangrove coastal estuaries.
