I am interested in the biogeochemical cycling of inorganic nutrients and organic matter through aquatic and marine environments. Special focus has been on sediment biogeochemistry and benthic-pelagic coupling of nutrient cycling in estuaries. My current focus is on biogeochemical processes affecting wetland ecosystems.
