Dr. Lartigue's research focus is on macroalgal physiology with an emphasis on nitrate metabolism, the relationship between the toxic dinoflagellate Gambierdiscus toxicus and its macroalgal hosts, and the flow of carbon through terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.
