Clear Creek Wetland Restoration Project

The Clear Creek, Texas, watershed experienced substantial wetland loss due to subsidence from groundwater withdrawal, erosion caused by extensive recreational boating and suburban development. Development and water-related recreation are expected to continue, although groundwater withdrawal issues have been addressed. The objective of this project is to restore and recreate coastal marsh land.
