I am currently a Ph.D. student at the Australian Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (former Centre for Maritime Policy), University of Wollongong, NSW, Australia.
I participated in the development of Integrated Coastal Zone and Watershed Management projects in Veracruz, Instituto de Ciencias Marinas y Pesquerías (former Centre of Ecology and Fisheries), Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico.
Some of my previous experience includes:
- Project Manager of the Veracruz Reef System National Park (2001), liaising with different stakeholders and users of reef resources.
- Park Ranger (1999 - 2000), National Marine Reef Park of Cancun.
-Volunteer, Isla Contoy National Park (1998-1999).
